Thank You for a Job Well Done‏

At this year's Highland Games, some of the Devils players helped out picking up garbage and was praised by Highlands Organizer, Bruce Youngblood.

Excerpt of praise sent to Rich Campbell, Devils Trainer who was key in organizing the boys to help out at this important local annual event.

"Richard:
As site chair I wanted to personally thank you and all of your volunteer workers for their outstanding efforts this past weekend at the Scottish Festival. Although ``Garbology`` is not considered by some as an exciting event it is without question one of the most important functions that keep the games going smoothly. On more than one occasion I saw your workers not only emptying the barrel but also doing a first rate job of cleaning the inevitable ground litter around that area. I was only able to thank one of your group once on a personal basis during the weekend and so I ask you to please extent my gratitude to everyone involved for an excellent effort and result, the very best I have seen in years. I hope you and your crew will be available for next year`s event. I was speaking with Craig MacGregor who heads up the field supervision during the weekend and I know he was equally impressed.

Fergus Devils Help Santa

The Fergus Devils Junior C Hockey Club makes new strides every year to get out into our local communities. Our team lends a hand as cleanup crew during The Fergus Truck Show in August and in December we make an appearance in the Fergus Santa Claus Parade.

Minor Hockey Game

Last season we hosted a Minor Hockey game during the 1^st Intermission and plan on having more during the upcoming 2012-13 season

School Fundraising Night

School Fundraising Night was a huge success last season, as we welcomed James McQueen Public School to attend a home game and their choir to sing the National Anthem.
